Angela talking about spending your time wisely:
“I could be on social media, making a big deal that I’m going to be here and doing all these things. Or I could just let the people who want to be on social media stay there, and focus instead on the relationships that matter — the ones that aren’t dependent on social media.”
I’m a big believer that you don’t need to be on every social media platform for your message to spread:
“If you make great stuff, maybe other people will talk about it on social media for you. If if you earn that trust, if you make that that work, other people can talk about you instead of you being on those platforms.”
Angela on finding better ways to stay connected:
“There were little moments — like seeing people in person who’d say, ‘Oh, are you still using LinkedIn? I haven’t seen your posts lately.’ It made me think: maybe you shouldn’t have to depend on me logging into an app and an algorithm deciding to show you my stuff.

My advice on driving traffic to your website:
“The the website discussion, how do I get people to my website? Make make a website that people want to go to.”
We got so good over the years and shoveling our thoughts and ideas and hot takes and opinions on platforms we didn’t own, yeah, it’s no wonder our website gets no traffic – there’s nothing of interest on your website!
